"Great Laker" is an American Tug 34 built in LaConner, Washington by the Tomco Marine Group. This comfortable Ocean Rated trawler is described as a sought-after expedition trawler and coastal cruiser loaded with practical features. The semi-displacement hull allows a very efficient 7-8 knot cruise at 2.5 GPH fuel consumption. The "Great Laker" is in exceptional condition and has been very well maintained by conscientious owners and has had numerous upgrades. Powered with a single Cummins 380HP main engine, Northern Lights 6 KW Generator, Sidepower Bow & Stern Thrusters, AIS system, Custom-made Upper Deck SS Bimini Top, newer Raymarine Electronics, including Quantum Radome, Touchscreen GPS/Plotter and Autopilot. Powerboat Guide calls Tomco Marine's American Tug 34 a "sought after coastal cruiser...with practical features. It starts with the pilothouse design. The steering station is to starboard behind an ample, sturdy trawler-style windshield, with side doors to access the decks. The high bulwarks make moving around the boat safe and secure.
Main Salon
As you enter the salon from the cockpit, the first impression is of an open and airy space with large windows and plenty of headroom. There are four opening windows with screens three fixed windows in the salon. The galley is to starboard and a large convertible settee with a hi-low air spring teak table to port. Well appointed with light teak interior trim, brown tweed carpet throughout and tan Ultraleather upholstery.

Galley
The American Tug galley features a delightful full-height counter that with a Granite Coat countertop that has a formed backsplash and very nice detailing. It offers two deep sinks with cutting boards and Hot/Cold pressure water. Features also include a Force 10 SS 3-burner electric stove and oven, cutting board custom fit to sink, Sharp Carousel Microwave installed above refrigerator, Upright Nova-Kool Refrigerator/Freezer, plentiful drawer and cupboard storage.
Stateroom Accommodations
The forward stateroom is very large with a centerline queen island berth. There are four large full-suspension drawers under the berth. Large storage compartments line the port and starboard hull sides. A large cedar lined hanging locker to starboard and an additional set of shelves to port. Reading lights are conveniently mounted on both sides of the berth. Private access to the head and equipped with a large overhead egress hatch with screen. Custom stainless steel framed glass portholes with screens throughout.
Head
The head is quite large and features a Vacu-flush system, a large 36' x 36" stand-alone shower with glass door and Granicoat counters with sink and vanity. Large teak trimmed storage cabinet and drawers. Private access from either stateroom or companionway.
