The design of the Prout 37 (formerly the Snowgoose 37) has evolved over nearly three decades. Over 400 of these boats are sailing world-wide, proof of the immense strength, seakindly design and quality of this cutter-rigged cat. The Italian styled interior combines sophisticated internal moldings with the classic look of carefully selected wood veneers, giving the boat a feel of understated elegance, with plenty of light, emphasizing space and warmth.
The Prout 37 is available in two different layout options, each providing three spacious and private double cabins, with a fully-serviced galley and a navigation area. Her balsa-cored construction is a good insulator, whilst the plethora of hatches provide a cool breeze throughout the boat. The spacious deck areas make lounging in the sun as easy as hiding from a chill breeze in the deep and secure cockpit. Her elegant lines belie her speed and agility under sail and power yet ensure a dry deck in all but the worst of conditions. She has the stability that will give confidence to even the faintest of sea going hearts. She is large enough to take a family cruising around the world, yet simple enough for the singlehander. Long-legged at sea to eat up the ocean miles, yet shallow enough to creep into the most secluded anchorage or simply to park on the beach.
Prout Catamarans was the first boat builder in the UK to receive Lloyds ISO 9002 quality standard recognition. Prout prides themselves in keeping in touch with owners through an excellent After Sales Service and a strong Owners Association.
