1998 PDQ Yachts 36 Capella LRC Twin Diesels
Yacht price
Overview
The PDQ Capella LRC was the ultimate refinement of over 11 years of production of these quality cruising catamarans. Built with Canadian craftsmanship in Whitby, Ontario, the Capella LRC was designed as a true bluewater catamaran with twin Yanmar diesels, increased tankage, a beefed up rig, and a solid hardtop.
The owners of Sea Souls have completed the package by outfitting her with all the equipment necessary for safe, comfortable, self-sufficient ocean passagemaking, including wind, solar and hydro power generators; full electronics; life raft, sat phone, and EPIRB; 12k BTU air conditioner and diesel heater; fully enclosed cockpit; Raymarine autopilot and Cape Horn wind vane (that's right, a windvane on a cat!)
Sea Souls has a fresh bottom job, saildrives and thru-hulls serviced, and topsides buffed and waxed.
She has been expertly maintained and is in turnkey condition.
If you are in the market for a quality cruising cat under 200k, before you "settle" for a beat up, poorly equipped ex charter cat, you owe it to yourself to see Sea Souls. Your cruising dreams can come true, PDQ!

Descriptions
Walking in from the hardtop covered cockpit with full enclosure is the main cabin, finished in a cherry interior with teak and holly flooring and tastefully chosen upholstery. The main cabin is remarkable for its space: Like most catamarans it has a curved settee with comfortable lounging and dining for six. Below the table is a custom liquor drawer and more storage. What sets the PDQ Capella apart is its six upper hatches with sun- filtering white translucent lights and enormous storage space under the cabin sole. To port is the galley that boasts 14 feet of counter space 12v refrigeration, propane range, twin stainless sinks, and tremendous storage.
To starboard, walk down a few steps to a fully separate navigation area. The desk folds down to reveal a large work area, with all your necessary Nav instruments within easy reach. The state-of-the-art circuit board is just above the Nav station.
Both staterooms are located forward. These are roomy enough for dressing and boast two opening hatches apiece. The berths are truly queen-sized! Storage includes hanging and drawer space for long distance living. The head is located aft in the starboard hull and has a roomy separate shower stall with acrylic door. for easy cleanup. Aft in the port hull is a flexible storage room/pantry or workshop with engine room access and a fold down single berth.
The storage capacity on the Capella 36 LRC is more than adequate for long term cruising
