Overview

OWNER WANTS OFFERS NOW!
THIS GREAT BOAT MUST GO!

You won't find a better prepared offshore cruiser at this price. Brand New aluminum ABYC standard fuel tanks!

Serious offshore cruisers, coastal cruisers and island hoppers looking for safety security and comfort in open water should take a long hard look at this boat. Bill Crealock who designed the Pacific Seacraft and a long list of serious cruisers designed the Westsail 42 to cruise around the world in comfort and to take the worst the sea had to offer. Even if you don't plan to sail around the world wouldn't you feel safe in a boat stronger than you are?

In addition to being one of the strongest most capable boats around this boat is already loaded with all the equipment needed to go anywhere. The HF radio, the wind vane self steering, the watermaker to fill the 200 gallon tanks, the generator would add a fortune to the cost of another boat you might consider. The owner just installed brand new ABYC standard aluminum fuel tanks. Why not buy and be ready to take off right now on the adventure of your life?

Trading up for an offshore boat? Owner will consider trades for "Any boat with some character that draws 4'2" or less".

JUST ADDED - BRAND NEW CUSTOM SS DINGHY DAVITS!

Accommodations
The forepeak houses a storage area which would also be perfect berths for 2 small children. Aft of the forepeak is the forward head. Next is the saloon. 2 settees flank a drop leaf table. Each settee has a raised berth behind the back. This can easily be rigged with lee cloths to provide 4 proper sea berths low in the hull and centered in the boat for maximum safety and comfort on passages. Behind and beneath the settees and sea berths is a wealth of accessible dry storage. 1 step up to port is a U shaped galley. To starboard is a navigation station with a very large chart table suitable for full size charts. Under the lift up surface is storage for navigation tools and below that is a large drawer for flat storage of charts. Aft of the navigation station is a walkthrough to the aft cabin. In the walkthrough is a large open storage area suitable for a wetlocker and line and fender storage. The aft cabin houses a large center berth which can be made as 2 separate berths or a large double athwartships with ample legroom. The comfortable mattresses are covered with memory foam. To port is the aft cabin head. In the forward bulkhead of the art head is a door for stepthrough access to the engine room for excellent engine and mechanical workspace.
