Steve started his career as a utility engineer, working the last thirty eight years in the plastics industry. He owned a custom injection molding facility and two proprietary product lines in the fishing industry. He worked as a manufacturers representative selling capital equipment.
He has owned boats in the thirty to forty feet range for over 25 years. His interest in trawlers began with the purchase of a Mainship 34 MK1 in 2005. Steve and his wife, Linda, started cruising The Great Loop in 2023, living aboard their Great Harbour N37. Their homeport is on the Tennessee River near Iuka, MS.
Steve primarily covers the Cumberland, Tennessee and Tombigbee Rivers for EYS, with a focus on trawlers and other long range cruisers. His technical background along with years of maintaining, repairing and upgrading boats are valuable resources for his clients.
