Overview

Set sail on your next adventure with this exceptional Catalina 309, a perfect blend of performance, comfort, and reliability. Whether you're a seasoned sailor or just starting to explore life on the water, this popular cruiser is designed to deliver a smooth and enjoyable experience. Meticulously maintained and loaded with thoughtful features, this Catalina 309 is ready to take you on unforgettable journeys. Don't miss the chance to own a sailboat that combines timeless design with modern sailing amenities!

Catalina has taken all the elements that made the original Catalina 30 the most popular family racer/cruiser ever, re-imagined into a new classic for this century.

• Super cockpit with sleeping length seats
• Refined and simple systems designed for easy owner maintenance.
• A sail plan designed for in mast furling
• Performance hull designed for predictable, comfortable handling and motion under sail
• Beautiful styling and finishes on deck and below
• Great Accommodations -with two enclosed cabins

The interior feels much larger than her 31ft length. An easy descent (no steep ladder!) into a very roomy Interior reveals an enclosed aft cabin, comfortable v-berth, sit down chart table and spacious head. The salon seats six with a symmetrical folding table.

The new non-skid flooring requires virtually no maintenance. Made from a new vinyl material, it is more durable than wood flooring and will not be affected by water. The galley has quality fixtures and stainless-steel lined AC/DC refrigeration. You'll find more drawers and lockers than in most comparable sized yachts.

On deck, the Edson Pedestal steering has a 32" destroyer wheel with single lever engine controls and a custom instrument housing. Incorporating LED cockpit lighting

The cockpit is large, a Catalina priority, with seats long enough to stretch out on. The port cockpit locker Is huge for storage of a dinghy, outboard or even air-conditioning and a genset.

There are four opening ports and four hatches throughout, providing excellent light and ventilation. The transom incorporates a walk-through stern platform and integral boarding ladder.

All sail controls are mounted on deck and led aft to the cockpit. The rig is specifically designed to optimize the sail area for enhanced performance, with the convenience of in-mast furling, which is standard equipment on the 309.

A state-of-the-art traveler above the companionway slider is custom designed for the 309, and the car position can be controlled from one side. All blocks are ball bearing.

The broad weather decks have generous genoa tracks to accommodate a variety of overlapping headsails.

No compromises were made in the construction. Decks are balsa cored with knitted laminates for strength. The hull has a vinylester skin coat to prevent osmosis. All rigging loads are tied into integral longitudinal structural aluminum beams.

High-density foam stringers and transverse structural members are an integral part of the hull and distribute the mast, rigging and keel loads to the hull. These structural members will not absorb water or deteriorate over time.

Plumbing and electrical systems are assembled of high-quality components and designed for easy access and maintenance. All electrical wiring is color-coded and tinned to prevent corrosion.

The efficient, powerful 3-cylinder Yanmar meets emissions standards, and sips a mere 0.5 gph at 2400 rpm.

Nothing was compromised in the size, structure and systems of the Catalina 309. Quite simply, it is a great yacht at a great valve.
