Broker's Comments
BROKER'S COMMENTS
Be ready to be transported to the horizon beyond. Once you step aboard, you'll appreciate how well cared for she is, how spotless her engine room is and how pristine her sails, decks, interior, and other systems are.
The Hunter 39, a Glenn Henderson design, is the culmination of a long run of very successful predecessors. She is a highly capable bay, coastal and blue ocean cruisers that can take you anyplace you'd like to go.
With each successive improvement of this amazing design, Hunter has made the yacht better and more desirable to cruisers everywhere, continually offering features to enhance your boating enjoyment and experience. Cockpits are spacious, welcoming, and comfortable. Decks are wide and easy to navigate without obstructions. Rigging and sails are easy to handle for single-handed sailing or a cruising couple for all lines lead to the cockpit through the revolutionary Hunter Arch.
This Hunter 39 has had only two owners and is nearly new in every respect. At only 13 years old, this vessel has been a FRESHWATER BOAT for most of its life, cruising along the banks of Lake Michigan, up until 2017 when she was moved to the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico.
It's hard to do better than the architecturally functional layout of this yacht. Every space is smartly designed to enhance your sailing experience. The aft athwartship owner's cabin is a Hunter favorite of mine, you just can't get more acreage in any other yacht in this size/price range. The main salon is wide and comfortable for a couple or a group. The spacious galley is beautifully designed with lots of storage, sturdy and practical appliances with plenty of counter space.
The upholstery is spotless and very durable. The flooring is in excellent shape. All the teak joinery looks like new. The galley, sink, countertops, stove and oven look like they've barely been used. These owners really keep an immaculate yacht.
Her gelcoat and exterior finishes are holding up very well, her decks, equipment and instruments are in very good condition. Her canvas is in great shape and her sails are all new in 2021.
Love the Raymarine suite of electronics. You have everything you need for short or long range cruising. The Fusion sound system provides you with clarity of sound and acoustic serenading anywhere on the boat.
