North American Factory Demonstrator recently upgraded to 30′ TARGA standards with the higher power, best equipment and the most comprehensive marine electronics package of any Protector on the market. This USCG Documented open ocean vessel was highlighted in Powerboat and RIB Magazine feature article in 2015 covering a 1500 mile Caribbean islands voyage. This Protector has unrivaled performance with a top speed of over 65 mph on "Any Water, Anywhere." It has enhanced ergonomics and bigger power, yet is still easily trailerable with the included trailer, without a permit, by an large SUV or half-ton pickup.
The Protector TARGA Rigid Hull Inflatable Boats is the perfect all weather vessel with the range and speed to cover all potential operations from recreation to a fast response or tow vessel. The Protector was designed to accommodate multiple large Multi-function navigational displays for better ergonomics while also considering creature comforts such as a custom stowable teak picnic table.
The helm has dual shock mitigating captain's chairs, which permit cruising at high speeds in rough conditions while maintaining excellent visibility, control, and comfort. Passengers aren't neglected with a new custom SKYDEX shock mitigating rear seating.
The dual Verado 250 outboards have been upgraded to 340 hp by Simon Motorsports and equipped with new Mercury's state-of-the-art EcoEnertia props permitting an economy cruise of 40 mph nearing 2 mpg.
Hypalon tubes look great as boat was stored indoors at the Protector facility until 2014.
Boat presently kept on covered boat lift with sunbrella chaps over tubes.
Only 10 hours on major overhaul of both lower units and hydraulics (trim rams).
Full Annual Service just completed in December 2017.
