CERULEAN is without doubt one of the finest built catamarans in existence. Every square inch of interior and exterior was crafted with attention to detail never achieved in production built catamarans and seldom if ever matched by other custom builders. The insides of all lockers, bilges, mechanical installations are as well finished as the exterior. All mechanical systems are beautifully installed and easily accessible for maintenance.
The interior is finished with AwlGrip with varnished laminated cherry trim providing an easy to clean extremely durable surface that will look just as good in 20 years as it does now.
Hulls, decks and bulkheads are constructed of laminated epoxy and high strength S-2 Glass fiber. S-2 Glass has twice the impact strength of carbon fiber. S-2 Glass also has improved stiffness and fatigue resistance. It is a great material for boat hulls but seldom used due to its cost.
CERULEAN has been professionally maintained by full time crew from launch day to present.
Sailing performance is superb on every point of sail. Well balanced, fast and easy to single hand there isn't a faster ocean cruising catamaran available.

Hulls, decks and pilothouse are constructed from vacuum bagged Epoxy resin and high performance S-2 uni-glass fabrics cored with "Core-Cell" SAN foam and PVC foam.
Crossbeams are built of uni-directional carbon fiber/epoxy with foam cored epoxy/glass bulkheads.
Extensive use is made of uni-directional carbon fiber reinforcement in high load areas of hulls and decks.
Interior joiner work and floorboards are all cored panels to provide stiffness at low weight.
Metal chainplates, stanchions, rudder posts are all fabricated of Titanium for high strength, low weight and corrosion resistance.
All exterior surfaces are spray painted with linear polyurethane "AwlGrip"coating.

A custom fabricated side by side refrigerator/ freezer (7 and 5 cu/ft capacity) is located in the galley, inboard side. Adjustable shelves included in each compartment. Each unit uses a separate highly efficient SeaFrost compressor with electronic control thermostat providing redundancy.
Each hull has a separate aft cabin which contains a large double berth, hanging locker, built in dresser, two bench seats with additional stowage beneath seats and berth. A deck hatch and opening ports provide excellent cross ventilation.
Each hull has a sleeping cabin amidships that contains a large queen sized berth (66"x80"). A hanging locker, built in dresser, storage cabinet and bookshelf is included. A large deck hatch and two opening ports provide ventilation.
Forward in each hull is a head and shower compartment.
Lavac Toilets for reliability and ease of cleaning with manual water pump.
Toilets are plumbed to holding tank with valves for overboard discharge as well as pump out.
