Descriptions
Sabre Yachts has been crafting luxury yachts since 1970 when the company's founder set out to build the finest possible 28-foot sailing yacht using production line methods and fiberglass technology. Over the next 40 years, sailboat models from 28 to 45 feet were introduced. In 1989 Sabre debuted the Sabreline 36 motoryacht.
This launched Sabre's industry-leading motor yacht range.
"Deregulation", has a distinctive Downeast personality and "Crafted in the Maine Tradition" reputation makes this lobster-boat-inspired design stand out from the mainstream mid-size power boats. With her wood trim and seaworthy modified Deep-V hull she has earned a reputation of Stability, Performance and Safety
The present owner, previously a long distance sailor with an Atlantic crossing under his belt, wanted a fast boat with a comfy, ample cockpit for crossing the Gulf stream and cruising the Bahamas.
Her twin 370HP Yanmar's and a top speed of 28 knots certainly fits the bill.
With her low hour twin, direct drive Yanmar 370hp diesels she will cruise in the 20s and top 30mph WOT. Theres also a full set of electronics including depth/fish finder, Radar, Simrad autopilot and GPS/Chart-plotter, twin A/Cs, generator, cockpit Cushions and covers, stainless steel anchor, and all the options.
"Deregulation V" is berthed in Miami and has been meticulously cared for & upgraded by her experienced owner. A recent survey and engine oil analysis is available.
