Descriptions
From the dock you will notice that Island Packet Cat 35 hull design features a center pod section, the manufacturer calls this protuberance its Deltapod. The wake created by the pod allows them to increase the clearance between the bridgedeck and the waves, reducing the discomfort due to wave impacts between the hulls; delivering the most comfortable rides in its class.

Standing at the bow, on the bridgedeck, you'll feel very safe because of the solid life rails and stanchions that extends across the front and along the sides - all the way to the stern. The 2017 full enclosure with windows and screen creates in the cockpit, with it's long newly cushioned lounge seats, a very comfortable and safe place to enjoy the pleasure of sailing and the docks. The walk thru transom leading to a fixed swim platform makes boarding from a tender, swim ladder or dock easy. The stern's formidable arch delivers the foundation for the two solar panels and radar dome.
The centered helm, close reach to sheets and lines, with the Raymarine Navigation center, Ritchie Compass and Depth finder makes passage making a pleasure. One, of the two VHF, radios is located directly below the helms seat.
Heading below, though the bi-fold smoked Plexiglas doors, down the set of stairs to a fully functional galley on the starboard side and a Navigational center to the port.
The galley has a deep single circular sink, a two-burner propane stove oven combo, a deep in-counter refrigerator/ freezer unit. The navigation station has the electrical panel, a VFH radio, SSB radio and controls for the two air- conditioners. One new in 2018.
The large forward windows and top hatches produced a bright airy salon. The table area can be in three different configuration: Down; providing a get lounging area and making it possible to create a double berth. One section up; a cozy two seat table. Two section up: delivers a nice settee seating for four people.
Each hull is a mirror image of the other. Second Wind is perfect for couples. Descending you encounter a closet, half hanging and half shelves.
