Remarkable History of Catalina 30
When Catalina Yachts introduced this model in the mid seventies no one knew the success that would later come. Inducted into the Sailboat Hall of Fame she soon became the world's most popular 30 Footer. After forty years this classic Catalina 30 MkIII Model has been redesigned and enhanced many times.
Exterior
On the exterior she has the convenient & modern walk-thru transom, swim ladder & shower; sun and surf protection from a continuous Dodger & Bimini (new in April 2016). Single handed sailing is made safer with lines that lead aft. The minimum teak on the exterior means more time for fun on the water.
