Accommodations
Entering into the main saloon will give you the "WOW" factor. "Island in the Sun" has a huge open saloon layout with a very large L-shaped galley to starboard. She has a spacious circular main seating area surrounding a teak dinette that seats 6-8 for dinner and can be converted to a double berth. Her extra long settee to port has ample seating for additional guests. There is also a complete Nav station with comfortable swing out seat. Storage is abundant in her many cabinets, and lockers and shelving. There are 3 screened opening hatches and 4 opening ports in the saloon for exceptional cross ventilation, and full 6'6" headroom throughout. Plus numerous (new) cabin fans and overhead lighting.

Forward is a private cabin with queen berth, seating area, and en-suite private head w/shower. Three opening hatches as well as opening ports offer excellent ventilation.

To port of the main companionway is the day head w/shower and overhead hatch. This head also opens to the private cabin aft and serves as it's en-suite head. A second private aft cabin is entered to starboard of the companionway in the galley area. Both aft cabins have large opening hatches (opening into the cockpit) which can serve as escape hatches in an emergency.

The engine is completely exposed for service by sliding the lower companionway steps forward, with additional access from the aft cabins.

Abundant storage, hanging lockers and cabinetry is available in all cabins.
