Descriptions
"Aventurine" is a 1994 lagoon 37 TPI. Manufactured in Rhode Island.
Lagoon 37's offers a spacious and comfortable interior. The salon, with a panoramic view, easily welcomes eight guests around a convertible table. The vast cockpit, extensive bridge area and huge trampoline, give as much space outside as inside, sunbathe in sheer comfort, either moored or under sail. Finished to perfection, the three double berth cabins are well-equipped. Thanks to her shallow draft, she can be taken to moorings and beaches inaccessible to most comparable boats. The Lagoon 37 is crafted in hand-laid fiberglass with balsa coring for stiffness, strength, insulation and outstanding performance.
The hardtop bimini provides the protection needed from sun and rain. The large, easy to get around cockpit with its inviting cushions offers a place to relax and recline.
Secure anchoring is accomplished with the wide arrange of ground tackle and 200'+ of chain rode. The anchors include: RONCA 55lb, CQR 45lb and Danforth 30lb anchors. And when its time to leave an electrical windlass does the heavy lifting.
The three solar panels, that create 540 watts, delivers the electrical power needed for the navigation electronics, all lights (most of them have been upgraded to LEDs) and the large 12V upgraded refrigerator and freezer. This presents the opportunity for longer stays on the hook, a major plus when exploring the cays and coves of the islands.
The two finely tuned 29hps Volvo Penta engines (with hours below 2,600) supplies the means to cruise at 7 knots+ and maneuver in tight docking situations.
The nicely shaped full roach mainsail and furling genoa generate the power that makes this cat sail - fast!
The interior is simply beautiful, the salon with its newer white cushions makes gatherings cozy and relaxed. Traveling down the steps on the port-side you arrive in the galley with its two deep double sink, force 10 propane stove and oven and a very large side door opening refrigerator and freezer. Looking forward is a Pullman double berth cabin with plenty of storage. Peering back, you'll see the large head with an ample shower, continuing pass the shower, you'll encounter a large chest like cabinet that opens to the port engine.
Jumping over to the starboard side, amidship is the vessel's electrical panel, proceeding forward there's a small second head it doubles as a walk thru to the second cabin with a large Pullman double berth and storage. Heading aft is where the smaller cabin encompasses a double berth, and the starboard engine is located beneath this berth.
