Descriptions
The 12' beam in the Island Packet 35 is ideally suited for extended periods of living aboard. The master stateroom is forward with a very wide V-berth, a large cedar-lined hanging locker, generous storage space, an overhead hatch, two opening ports, a private entrance to the head plus a privacy door to the salon.
The head is aft to port and can be accessed from the master stateroom or the salon. It features a marine toilet, vanity with stainless steel sink, a separate stall shower complete with a teak shower seat, curtain and bulkhead mounted shower unit, an overhead hatch and opening port plus storage for toiletries.
The salon is aft with port and starboard facing settees (port berth pulls out to sleep two, a teak bulkhead mounted dining table which conceals a bottle and storage rack, and a full size nav station with chart storage.
The galley is aft to starboard with double (deep) stainless steel sinks, a new three burner Force 10 propane stove with oven, Microwave, Adler Barbour cold plate refrigeration with lots of storage lockers and cabinets for food and dishes.
Engine access is outstanding with removable panels on both sides plus behind the companionway steps. The aft stateroom is aft to port and equally spacious with a large double berth, a cedar-lined hanging locker and plenty of storage areas. Two portlights and an overhead hatch provide excellent light and ventilation here also.
The vessel has a teak and holly sole, four helo fans, 6'4" headroom, three overhatches and 8 opening ports. The interior of this vessel shows very litte use and is free from diesel or head odors found on many boats.
