Interior Accommodations

CORSAIR is a spacious 4 cabin yacht with real live aboard proportions.  As you enter the salon from the enormous cockpit you immediately realize how spacious she really is. Her beautiful dining table is to starboard with wrap around seating and a settee in front of the table adding to seating capacity.  She can easily seat 8 for dinner. To port is a curved settee with oval cocktail table for entertaining.  Her 17-foot beam is evident in the salon with plenty of natural light, opening hatches and port lights all adding to the sheer volume of the space.

Aft and to starboard of the salon is the well-equipped U-shaped galley. Designed for safety offshore but loaded with conveniences.  Large double stainless sinks with stainless countertop are inboard near the centerline.  A four- burner cooktop and oven are adjacent to the sinks. Top and front-loading refrigerator/freezer with lots of counter space round out efficient layout of the galley.  There are three opening portlights and one fixed hull port light in the galley alone.  Note, another pair of top and front-loading refrigerator/freezers are in the passageway way aft of the navigation station. 

The Nav. station is aft of the salon to port with adjacent access to the engine room.  The access door has a window to facilitate a quick look at the engine. AC/DC control panels and breakers in this area as well.  This is a proper Nav station with tons of storage.

As you proceed aft through the passageway from the Nav station you enter the master suite.  This cabin has its own companionway and small aft cockpit providing total privacy for the lucky owners.  The oversized double it to port with the companionway between this berth and the single berth to starboard.  Forward against the bulkhead is a desk with swivel seat.  There is a Garmin multi-function display in this stateroom for monitoring conditions.  The amazing light and numerous lockers and drawer storage make this an unparalleled owner's retreat.  The head is forward to starboard with large standalone shower.

Moving forward from the salon are two cabins one port and one starboard each with their own heads and share shower.  Each cabin has a double bunk with a single over.  Large drawer stacks and hanging lockers providing plenty of storage.  Opening hatches and plenty of light make them comfortable cabins on long cruises.

All the way forward is the 4th cabin with v-berth.  This is a spacious cabin with double drawer stacks, plenty of louvered outboard storage cabinets.  It could be used for crew if necessary.  It has its own sink and head (currently disconnected) and can be accessed through a deck hatch if necessary. All the cabins enjoy tons of natural light and ventilation along with additional light provided by numerous deck prisms.  All are equipped with electric fans.

TEAK DECKS:

NIJINSKI/CORSAIR was built in 1987 and shipped to Norway where she was stored indoors during winters and spent a period of ten years indoors prior to a large refit and then brought to the US for sale in 2015. I sold NIJINSKI to the current owner in 2015. I calculated the time her decks had seen the light of day in 2015 and with her 10 year storage and only 4 months a year in Norway's short sailing season, her decks had seen the light of day for a little more than 6 years. The surveyor indicated NIJINSKI looked like a boat that was put away in a time capsule. She has been sailing the Caribbean and East Coast for the last 5 years. She is truly a piece of history to be treasured.
