1987 Freedom Yachts 36
Yacht price
Overview
"Singlehanded" is one of the most highly sought-after cruising designs. Gary Mull designed the free-standing rigged sloop to be handled solo, and the seaworthiness and ease of sailing have made this boat intensely popular. This gal was just refitted in 2017 and was ready to head to the islands, but is now being sold due to owners' change of plans. You have everything to gain from this boat!
Practical Sailor Magazine said of this model: "Probably the most distinctive thing you'll be getting in the Freedom 36 is the ease of handling. We can't imagine how you could get a 36-footer that sails well and make it any easier to handle. A lot of the joy of sailing is making the wind work for you, and the Freedom 36 gives you more return for your labor than any other boat we've sailed."
Full Excel spreadsheet of inventory available upon request. Very thorough and organized.

Descriptions
Not only is this an easy boat to sail, the interior space is well thought-out and very generous for a 36 footer. The galley is to port and there is a private double quarterberth to starboard. The settee area is large enough to seat 6 comfortably, and the ergonomics of this boat are incredible. The v-berth is large, the head is sizeable for a 36-footer, and the whole interior is spacious and comfortable.
This boat has incredibly low engine hours, and awesome dinghy and outboard, and is literally outfitted for the Caribbean. Owners intended on taking her across the Gulf Stream but had a change of career plans and are unable to go. They thought of everything--even the foul-weather gear is staying aboard! There is NOTHING you need to do to this boat except buy groceries and go.
If you've thought about owning a Freedom, JUMP on this opportunity! She won't be on the market long!
