One of about a dozen trawlers built by Tayana with the same rugged construction and fine interior detail for which Tayana sailboats are known. Built by the Ta-Yang Yard in Taiwan, she is an attractive vessel,rugged and impressive with a minimum of exterior teak. 3 staterooms, genset, A/C, inverter, full canvas, dingy, and davits. Watertight bulkheads in the engine room and protected props!

Accommodations
Main Salon, Lower helm on portside, large chart table across the front, five forward windshields, three large aft windows.Pilothouse doors on each side. A circular settee and dining table with seating for 6 plus 2 built-in chairs, Storage under chairs and part of settee seats. Cabin windows have mini blinds and curtains and all windows except the doors have mesh sunscreen covers outside. The floor covering is Berber carpet. Teak and Holy sole in the forward end of salon (pilothouse).

Forward Cabins Two private cabins forward with access to the forward head. Port cabin has 2 single berths. Starboard cabin has a large single berth. There is ample storage in both cabins. Both cabins have opening portholes and overhead screened hatches. The floors are Berber carpet.

Aft Cabin Queen size bed with storage underneath. Settee aft on starboard. Writing desk, Six opening portholes with screens. Large overhead hatch to after deck. Large master head with separate standup shower. Exhaust fan, Storage includes 2 hanging lockers. The floor covering is Berber carpet. The entire interior is finished with teak veneer through out.

Lower Station: A full set of electronics and engine instruments. Two windshield wipers to port. Full navigation station with chart table drawers to starboard. Large aft deck with Bimini over the top. Up 2 steps to flybridge. Bench seating on both sides. Center helm seat. Great storage under forward helm. Flybridge has 3 sided enclosure.


Galley
The spacious galley is in the aft companionway down 2 steps to starboard. You pass through the galley going into the Master stateroom. Ample storage. Easy, access to the salon.

Electronics
Two magnetic compasses. One digital compass. Raytheon Pathfinder RL74RC Radar Raytheon HSB series Raychart 520 chart plotter ( uses C-Map NT chips). These are fed by a JRC differential GPS. Units are 1 1/2 yrs old. This unit gives full radar and plotter coverage at both stations at any time. Robertson 3000 Autopilot. Two VHF radios, loud hailer with automatic fog horn and intercom. Depth sounder. Interphase forward searching sonar unit. Sony AM/FM cassette player with interior and exterior speakers.


Electrical
12/24 volt and 110 volt electric through out the boat. 5.5kw Northern Lights generator. Two 30amp shorepower cords. Two 50' 30 amp power cords, Two 25' 30 amp power cord extensions. One 50amp to double 30 amp splitter. One single 30 amp to double 30 amp splitter Total of 660 amps/hr battery bank for the house. Hart 2500 inverter/charger and Link 1000 monitor. This set up allows all ac powered devices except the air conditioning to operate off the battery bank. Individual start batteries for both engines and the generator. Receptacles for cable and phone hook up. 2, 110 volt air conditioning units with reverse air heat.


Deck
Fiberglass hull. Superstructure and underdeck, sandwich construction fiberglass to Lloyds Specs. Teak Decks. main fuel tank (300 gallons)is fiberglass and in the bilge keeping the weight low for a stiffer boat. 2 100 gallon saddle tanks in the engine room. The Tayanas have 2 water proof bulkheads, 1 fore and aft of the engine room. Oil pump system. Heavy duty rub rail with bronze striker. Stainless Steel stanchions with teak hand rails. Heavy duty bow pulpit with dual anchor chocks. Heavy duty fiberglass windbreaker around aft deck. Large Sunbrella aft deck cover on 1 ½" SS frames. (1998) Large swim platform with SS ladder. SS Dinghy Davits. Dinghy 10'6" Apex RIB, with 15hp Nissan ob (Both 1998) Lines and fenders.

Ground Tackle 44 lb Bruce w/70' of chain and 150' of ¾" nylon rode Simpson Lawrence Fast Set plow with 30' chain and 250' 5/8" nylon rode. Heavy duty Lo-Frans windlass with chain wildcat and drum for nylon rode. Anchor bridels, 24 x 24 bronze props on 2" shafts. 1 spare prop. Stainless Steel rudders on 2"shafts. Struts are heavy duty SS and cross braced to keel. All thru hulls bronze. All exterior teak recently refinished as of 5/03.






Plumbing
240 gal water tank. Pressure water system, with external water hookup. Hot water heater either electric or engine heated. Holding tank with pump out port or overboard discharge with macerator discharge pump. Both heads have electric flush toilets with macerator motors. Overboard Y valves are installed but disabled at this time. Two automatic bilge pumps with alarm. One Hand bilge pump. All bilge pumps plumbed through a sea chest in the engine room.
