Descriptions
The Willard 40's graciously designed interior is comfortable and well proportioned. Upon entering the salon, you will find a dining table to port and chairs set up for relaxation to starboard. Moving forward, the u-shaped galley to port features a double stainless sink, and is open, featuring a bar top where the chef can hand dishes or cocktails across to the dining area.
The helm station is large and comfortable, and the view is excellent. Everything that you need in order to run the boat is within arm's reach.
Taking the steps down, there is a large head with a full-sized stall shower located to starboard, and a stateroom with a double bed and vanity/sink to port. The v-berth is large as well, and features an escape hatch with ladder as well as a great deal of storage space. Both cabins contain cedar-lined hanging lockers.
This is a boat that you could easily live aboard, and is suitable for a family of 4 or 2 couples for long-term cruising. Large enough for comfort, but small enough for someone to single-hand.
Engine Room
The engine room on this boat is impressive! Be sure to see the photos! The Perkins 6.3544 has been immaculately maintained, and has approx. 5,400 hours on it. It's a 130 HP naturally aspirated engine that is known to be one of the best marine engines ever made. Oil analysis available!
The owners of this boat, both present and prior, have taken extreme care to keep the engine room clean and free of clutter, making the engine fully accessible from all sides. There is ZERO water in the bilge or oil beneath the engine.
She also has a 14 KW Lima diesel generator with under 1,000 hours on it.

Broker's Notes
It's easy to see why these boats are sought after. The Willard 40 is the perfect compromise between a traditional trawler, a tug, and a downeast-style boat. Her canoe stern makes the design unique, and she will turn heads in the trawler world! This one is nice and clean, and won't be on the market for long! Call me! 305-807-4096!
