1981 Factory Miami Boat Show display boat, Hull # 761, Nice structurally and mechanically sound vessel, just needs some cosmetic TLC. Twin Lehman 135, 4331 hours, newer Northern Lights generator 824 hours, Watermaker (pickled), Custom Dual anchor roller bow pulpit, Galley maid windlass, (2) Galley Maid toilet systems, 8ft Dyer fiberglass dinghy, 9.9 Yamaha OB motor, Sub Zero Refrigerator, Sub Zero Freezer, Heart Interface Inverter / Charger (currently not installed, but working), 2 8-D, 1 4-D batteries(new 4/2014), Glendinning sync, Very clean, well equipped, engine room with inspected and clean, painted fuel tanks. Engines fire right up. No indication of oil under engines in lined bilge. Exterior needs cosmetic attention. Nice Teak interior with original GB drop leaf teak table and GB lamp. Single queen in aft stateroom to starboard, vanity and drawer unit to port and aft, V-berth forward, both heads contain Galley Maid toilets and sanitation systems. Pictures do not show dinghy, but is included. Knowledgable owners extensivly cruised her but currently are not using and looking for offers

Descriptions
"Tapocketa" is a two stateroom vessel with the traditional Grand Banks 42 Classic layout. Starting at the bow and moving aft - the forward cabin has a large V berth, hanging locker, drawers and private head with shower.
Up a few steps to the salon, a helm is to starboard. Door to starboard leads to wide side decks with bulwarks, bronze stanchions and varnished hand rails. Full galley to port; aft of galley is another door leading to the port side decks. There is cabinetry aft of door with the Sub Zero freezer and entertainment center. To starboard aft of the helm is a cabinet, containing the ice maker & L-shaped dinette w/fold-down Grand Banks drop leaf teak table with an original, working Grand Banks lantern overhead.
The aft cabin is down a few steps and has a starboard double berth, drawers, plenty of shelves and storage. The head is to starboard with a separate stall shower. To port is a LARGE hanging locker in addition to a second hanging locker. Aft of that is a factory optional corner desk/vanity and added drawer /cabinets along the port and aft of the cabin. There are 3 COLD A/C systems, vinyl window blinds, curtains and teak parquet sole, throughout boat.

The Galley is the straight line up galley on the forward port side. Princess 3 burner electric stove with oven with a large storage drawer beneath for pots and pans. There are drawers, a hinged cupboard space below. This is followed by an insulated Sub Zero AC/DC refrigerator. At the end of the counter is a microwave oven and a cabinet above for glasses, small dishes or food storage. The galley also has a swing out trash container on a teak door mounted on the port side of the helm station. The 12 gallon water heater, as well as the pressure water system with accumulator, are located in the engine room.

The fly bridge is very spacious. The bench-type helm & companion seats have matching seats with white vinyl upholstery. There is a bimini that gives shade to the entire seating area. There are grab rails around the entire deck perimeter to enable crew to move safely around the decks in rough seas. Another nice feature is the spring line cleats port and starboard. On the starboard aft cabin top, there is a set of dinghy chocks for the Dyer dinghy which is hoisted into place using the boom and mast

The generator is located on the centerline aft of the main engine. It provides ample power for all the AC needs on the boat. There are AC and DC outlets located throughout the vessel. The dockside power supply to the vessel is on port, on exterior side of main saloon cabin via dual 50 ft., total 30 amp shore power cables.
