Yacht price
Overview
CONFIRMED--NO HURRICANE DAMAGE! STILL AVAILABLE!
Price just dropped to $55,000! This is a steal! "Opinicus" has style and classic beauty, and is a heavy-duty cruiser built to take you down island and beyond! She has "Captain Ron" charm and the strength of a world cruiser. The Formosa Spindrift 43 is legendary--this classic design is known for its strength, safety, and old-world style. She was Taiwanese built in an era where boats were overbuilt in order to ensure their seaworthiness. She's a cutter-rigged sloop, also powered by a Ford Lehman 2712E 80 HP diesel with 5779 hours on it and many more to go. Her current owners have sailed her all through the Caribbean, and are on to their next adventure. They owned her for over 20 years.
This is an extremely spacious and comfortable boat, in addition to being safe and seaworthy. The aft cabin has a double berth, there are two full heads, and the forward stateroom and pilot berths on the forward section of the boat allow for privacy for a family of 4 or more.

Accommodations
This is a spacious and well-appointed vessel, ideal for charter or for a family, or simply for someone who likes to entertain guests. The private aft cabin is the captain's suite, with a double bed and full private head. The galley is up, right across from a very comfortable dining area, then forward of the living area/salon, you step down into a private and cozy cabin in the center of the boat, featuring two large pilot berths to port and a desk area/nook to starboard, making this an ideal boat to live and work aboard.
The forward head features a stall shower, and the berth up forward is private and generous as well. There are huge amounts of storage all throughout the boat, and she gives you the security of feeling like you are aboard a small ship!
Galley
"Opinicus" is outfitted with an oversized 12-vold refrigeration system and a separate freezer, making her ideal for long-term cruising. Her galley features a nice Force 10 propane gimbaled stove and double stainless steel sinks--a floating chef's dream!
Engines
The Ford Lehman 2712 80 HP diesel has a very good reputation, and this one has been maintained consistently.
