The CSY 44 has become legendary mong cruisers for their classic lines, well-constructed offshore capabilities, hull strength, great interior accommodations with plentiful ventilation along with sea kindly stable ride, complete with a clipper bow, galleon style transom, cutter rigged traditional design that will be sure to turn heads. CSY did not use wood lamination in its construction, a technique that is the curse of many boats of this vintage. The CSY hull is up to 1.5" of solid fiberglass reinforced plastic resin with 14 dual layers (one sheet of fiberglass mat and one sheet of fiberglass weave = one layer). The avoidance of wood cores extends to the deck, which is also solid fiberglass. The only wood used in the construction of these boats are heavy laminated structural stringers, bulkheads and interior furniture. This vessel has been well-maintained and has never been chartered. She has accommodations for seven in two staterooms and the salon, two heads with showers and well equipped galley.

This second owner CSY Yacht is loaded with extras, new bottom paint April 2015, recently serviced and updated equipment. The Hull and deck were repainted 2004/2005 and she was equipped with a new Yanmar 4JH4-TE, 75HP Turbo diesel in 2012 that currently has only 92 hours. New anti-fouling paint, all lights were replaced with LED lights all 3 batteries were replaced in 2012. This yacht comes with a six man Plastimo Transocean life raft, an ACR RBL-35 EPIRB, Two Dinghies and a 2009 5HP Tohatsu outboard.

The yacht is located in Antigua, West Indies, the perfect spot to start your adventure cruising the Caribbean and beyond. The yacht is currently stored on land where she watched after in the absence of the owners. This arrangement can also be negotiated for the new owners as well.
