1976 Catalac 8 Metre
Yacht price
Overview
A popular and comfortable cruising Catamaran. She is safe, easy to handle and a good passage maker. Ideal for the family due to her excellent accommodation. She could also be cruised through the canals, as her mast can easily be stepped. This girl needs a lot of TLC but with some work could be brought back to cruising condition. The hull, sails and rigging appear to be in good condition. These boats have an amazing amount of room for their size. If you're handy, this could be a nice boat. Also, the slip is transferable ($350/mo).

Overall
This Catalac needs some TLC but is a good solid boat. Her rigging and hull appear to be in good condition. She is set up with a sloop rig with winches on the mast and on the cabin top in front of the cockpit. She only draws 2'4" which makes her a great FL/Bahamas boat. She is equipped with two stainless steel 35 gal water tanks which is much more that most boats her size. The sinks have manual Whale water pumps for the tanks. There is a dorm size 110Vac refrigerator aft of the galley sink. These boats have a remarkable amount of room and storage for a smaller vessel. Each hull has standing headroom and the main cabin is both a settee and berth. A full size berth is forward the salon and accessed by going forward thru the galley on starboard.
She is powered by a dependable 9.9 Yamaha four stroke and has wheel steering for the rudders. She is equipped with ground tackle and accessories. She is equipped with a Garmin 276C GPSMAP with all of the chip sets from New England to FL.
If you are looking for a project boat that has potential from a builder with a good reputation , this is the one.
