NOTLUF is a beautifully designed center cockpit ketch designed by Sparkman & Stephens. The vessel is U.S. built by Paul E. Luke, Inc. shipyard located in East Boothbay, ME. Blueprints/drawings/notes from 1972 are onboard. NOTLUF has had 3 previous owners. All have cared and respected the vessel since she first splashed in 1972. Elegant and graceful perfectly describe the lines and sailing ability of  NOTLUF. Bottom was painted March 2020 at Hinckley Boat Yard in Stuart, FL. The seller regretfully has made NOTLUF available for purchase due to business and family commitments. 
Recent Maintenance June/July 2021 -
  • Rebuilt the Raw Water Pump
  • Remove the Heat Exchanger pressure test clean all the end caps, Replaced All Zincs
  • Rebuilt the Alternator
  • Replace Alternator Belt, some Hoses/Clamps and Radiator Cap
  • All Batteries Replaced
  • Exterior Teak has been Stripped - Ready for the new owner to finish as desired
  • Hull & Topsides Waxed/Buffed - Needs to be re-painted

NOTLUF has boarding gates both Port & Starboard. Decks are uncluttered and easy to transit. Hull and topsides have been recently waxed/buffed and teak has been stripped/sanded. New owner can finish the teak as preferred. Entering the center cockpit is by a small entry door on either Port or Starboard side. Center cockpit has a hardtop with full enclosure. Centerline helm pedestal is located aft in the cockpit. Entry to the owners stateroom is starboard of the pedestal and down 4 steps. Includes an ensuite head with a separate shower. Behind the 4 steps is a watertight door leading to the engine room with 66" headroom.  Entry to the raised salon is down 4 steps at the head of the cockpit. To port in the raised salon is a built-in 78" seating. Across to starboard features an 84" L-shaped settee. Forward and amidships is the beautiful Luke fireplace. Down 2 steps to starboard is the well appointed L-shaped galley. Forward to port is the guest head featuring a stand alone shower. Continuing forward is the guest stateroom.  Notable Features:

Wired for 32 volt house service and 12 volt engine start. AC loads are handled via 220 volt with a step down transformer to 110 volt service. Northern Lights 12kw generator  handles the AC service. Heart Freedom 1800 watt inverter handles light loads. Drive end of the generator was overhauled in 2014.
