Accommodations

The Legend 35.5 was carefully designed to maximize the comfort and function in a very inviting salon that is filled with natural light.

A hinged table leaf allows full use of the salon area (seats 6), plus lowers & converts to a double berth.

To starboard and across from the galley is the head with separate shower stall with bench that provides ample space to shower.  New Natures Head composting toilet (USCG Approved) installed in 2015.  Old sewer lines and holding tank removed.

The aft stateroom has an athwartship double berth, hanging locker and standing room in doorway to comfortably change clothing. 

Forward is V-berth large enough for 2 adults, with privacy doors and 2 large hanging lockers.

Galley

The large L-Shaped galley is to port just forward of the aft cabin and provides ample storage space for supplies needed when cruising.

A huge refrigerator with ice box gives you space to provision for a week or more and is complemented by a double stainless sink.  

The chef will enjoy the 2 burner stove/oven (two full CNG tanks) with removable cutting board, ample counter space and generous, functional storage.  Portable 2 burner propane camping stove as an alternate.



Sails and Sails Handling

The Cruise Pac® standard features include furling with 130% genoa system, full batten mainsail with Dutchman® sail flaking and single line reefing.

Recent Improvements/Modifications/Repairs

Oct 2018 - Complete bottom job painting

Oct 2018 replaced the broken windlass with new unit (same model Lewmar V700 w/ up/down switch in anchor locker side wall)

Oct 2018 replaced the intake water pump for the AC unit

Oct 2018 rewired the Auto Pilot to Chart Plotter using Raymarine SeaTalk to SeaTalk ng kit. Now working normal (original Auto Pilot was not compatible with new Chart Plotter without this modification)

Oct 2018 - Purchased & Installed new AIS class B Transponder & antenna, wired thru SeaTalk Network to chart plotter (power for AIS is 12vdc plug in Batt compartment)

Oct 2018 purchased new line for main or jib halyard as backup, not installed. Also have new line for jib furling drum line.

Oct 2017 paid local contractor (Chrisco) to detail, wax, buff entire hull

Oct 2017 AYB mechanic replaced the cutlass bearing on drive shaft

Oct 2017 AYB shop replaced all zinc's

Oct 2017 AYB shop repaired some minor gel coat nicks & scratches, prior to Christo detailing & waxing hull.

Oct 2017 Reel Boat Works mechanic performed preventative maint on Yanmar Engine, including replace all belts, hoses, filters, fluids. Removed exhaust mixing elbow & heat exchanger core and took to shop to acid clean. Also replaced complete engine oil line tubing. Also polished fuel tank.

Oct 2017 Rigger replaced topping lift line & added disconnect shackle to lower Dutchman flaking sys lines.

Oct 2017 added radar reflector below lower spreader

Oct 2017 added various chaff protection items to bow life lines and lower shrouds

Oct 2017 replaced orig Fortress anchor (now spare) with 33 Lb Rocna

Oct 2017 upgraded anchor rode with 120 ft all chain primary and 30 ft chain spliced to 120 ft line as backup

Oct 2017 purchased new line for jib furling line, but did not install it Oct 2017 purchased & installed rail mounted BBQ (stored in V berth)

Oct 2016 replaced battery charger (fall 2018 not working, bought replacement, stored in V berth)
