Overview

The Lagoon 440, without any doubt, has proven to be one of the most popular catamarans of all time! Alize offers excellent design innovations such as the upper deck steering station, a large, fully covered aft cockpit that seamlessly joins the salon area, a forward cockpit and living space hitherto unknown in cats of this size, as well as excellent performance.

Alize is very well equipped with a large generator, full AirCon, a power winch, a good Raymarine electronics suite, dinghy, outboard, inverter, to mention just some of her equipment. Much of this equipment has also been upgraded in recent years by her conscientious owner to ensure that Alize remains in as close to new condition as possible. She is located with a top charter company and is competitively priced considering her great equipment and excellent condition. She could remain in charter or be used for private cruising by her new owners, after some of her future charters are completed, and we would work with the buyer to achieve the earliest release date from charter possible, should the new owner desire this.

OWNER’S REMARKS: The Lagoon 440 is really something out of the ordinary. The design of her cockpit and flybridge, and the comfort she offers at sea as well as moored are unmatched. Combine that with her pointing ability, off the wind speed and stability and you have a superbly equipped, luxury yacht that will fulfill your every desire. That is ALIZE!

Vessel Walkthrough
Entering the salon from the cockpit, "Alize" boasts a large, bright and airy salon. Most forward and to port is a large L-shaped settee with an island settee aft of the fixed salon table. Opposite the settees and to starboard is the forward facing nav station. To allow helming from below decks, an electronic joystick control is located to starboard of the nav station. There is also a locker that houses a stainless steel freezer.

Aft and to starboard is the large and sea kindly galley. The galley is fitted with a 3-burner stove, dual sinks w/ third drainer sink, and a stainless steel refrigeration unit. There is an expansive stainless steel work surface as well as plenty of storage above and below the galley surfaces.

"Alize" is provided with 5 cabins and 5 heads. The 2 forward guest cabins feature a fore and aft queen berth with storage outboard as well as below the berth, a hanging locker, and a large ensuite head. Each head is equipped with a shower, hand basin, and marine toilet. The forward cabins are a mirror image of each other.

The 2 aft guest cabins feature centerline queen island berth, a hanging locker, and storage space either side of and below the berth. The aft cabins also have an ensuite head with shower, hand basin and marine toilet. Both cabins mirror each other.

The port bow section provides another sleeping cabin with a small double that is ideal for kids and is entered through a deck hatch. Opposite, in the starboard bow section, is another head compartment with marine toilet, shower and sink, this area is also accessed through an overhead deck hatch.
The whole of the interior offers a very spacious, airy and light living space that is extremely comfortable with a modern, functional ambiance throughout.

Lastly, mention must be made of the incredible exterior living spaces offered by this unique design. These include a very spacious aft cockpit with plenty of seating and a hard top bimini roof above as well as a forward cockpit area that is a great location to safely enjoy the exhilarating ride. Last but definitely not least, the large fly bridge steering station on the cabin top that offers the helm tremendous visibility yet is large enough for plenty of company too.
