Accommodations
Main cabin is entered from the cockpit through large screened (and locking) doors. Teak companionway stairs (w/non skid) lead to large spacious extended saloon.

The spacious Saloon is a trademark of the Bayfield-40. She is light, airy, and well ventilated with all opening ports (screened), and her classic opening Butterfly Hatch (fully screened & new lexan panes).

There is a Private Stateroom w/double berth to Port, and an identical Private Stateroom to Starboard of the main companion-way. Each contains: hanging lockers and chests of drawers. Two screened ports and an overhead screened hatch in each stateroom provide natural light & ventilation. The Dinette converts to an additional double berth, for a total of 6 berths.

Moving forward, the Nav Station is to Port. It's teak seat (w/storage underneath) can face the Nav Station or Dinette (to Starboard) for additional guest seating. The desk/table in the Nav Station slides out to accommodate a full sized chart,, or retracts to conserve space. There are additional drawers and storage shelves for additional items.

Forward of the Nav Station along the Portside is the well equipped Galley, and opposite occupying the Starboard side of the Saloon is a large U-Shaped Dinette with comfortable seating for 6. (converts to additional double berth) The Dinette contains a teak pedestal table, w/drawer and storage cabinet, that folds down for additional Saloon space when not being used as a dining table

Forward toward the fore-peak is a large head compartment w/generous sized shower.
