The interior is beautiful. The layout is exactly what live aboards are looking for, Six-foot six-inch head room main cabin with full galley, settee and lounge. Very airy aft cabin with side lounge and queen size Pullman berth and a cozy restful V berth and one head.

Description

The Contest 38S Ketch is a favor boat in Europe.

The ketch sails plan with the 6'6" fin keel is design to provide stability and speed for blue water sailing. The large cockpit with the center helm wheel provides a comfortable safe place to drive the boat from. The chart plotter, depth, wind and speed gauges, which are mounted on the companionway overhang, provides the necessary information to sail this vessel.

Descending down the companionway you will be taken back by the interior classic beauty. Over to the port side is the galley that has a single deep stainless-steel sink, a cold plate refrigerator an 3 burner/ oven. The storage cabinets are large and deep.

Next to the galley is the cabins settee with a wing table. Above the settee the large, easy to access cabinets continue. Across the cabin is long lounge that can be used as single berth. The Chart table with the boat's electrical panel is finishes off the main salon.

Heading forward the passageway is incorporated with the head/shower with a hanging closet a separate closet with shelves. The V berth is large and under the berth there in a totally accessible area for storage.

Going back through the salon heading towards the chart table there is a passageway to the aft cabin. In the passageway is the entrance to the engine compartment. Its panel is a breeze to removed and the engine is easily accessed.

Entering the aft cabin, you will discover a nice lounge wrapping around to the queen size Pullman berth. The cabin is spacious and homing.

Broker Note

This boat is a solid boat with the accommodation that you would find in much larger boats. The interior is just down right gorgeous. If you are looking for a safe, solid boat you would want to consider this one.
