Descriptions
AccommodationsThis example sailed to Jamaica and its' 65 ft rotating mast was damaged in route early in its' life. It was fitted with a shorter 50 ft mast for return to the United States.
The very lightly used original sails are still onboard.
The best client for this vessel is someone who wants a truly unique, fast and secure 50 ft catamaran and is willing to bring back this boat to it's original condition.
The most logical approach would be to secure another 65 ft mast and new rigging to use the excellent sail inventory.
The hulls appear to be in very good condition and major issue have been addressed (however one of the original dagger boards is missing) and the interior will take very little effort to bring back the luster of the custom woodwork.
The boat as been sand blasted inside, painted with epoxy primer Ameron Coatings (Armershield) spray insulation 1-1/2 inch to cover all t-bar, and wall over it with Nida Core double layer fiberglass with JB Martin fiber material cover. Gelcoat surface finished all the inside walls which makes a double insulation. Outside paint is also Amershield epoxy primer and paint. Side was epoxy clear over mill finish.
The cherry wood marine A/1 9 ply. 3/4 inch been use for all cabinet and full hard cherry wood molding Hull and deck constructed of 4mm plate. Cabin and canopy constructed of 4mm plate as well.
The original owner/builder pictures from the years 2006/2007. The other pictures are from May 2018.
