Overview

The Hunter 430 is built to perform with all the style and comfort you and your family deserve. Warren Luhrs and the Hunter Design Team have created a boat that is fast, easy to sail, stable and comfortable. Thoughtful touches aboard, like sail design that incorporates a fractional rig, swept back spreaders and a stack pack main. This eliminates the need for a backstay and improves sail efficiency and ease of handling. The exterior design of the 430 include a wrap-around windshield with cover, integrated main sheet arch with instrument pod, two-tone non-skid deck, walk-thru transom, and a huge cockpit with wheel steering. A slippery but stable hull design incorporates a bulb wing keel and a spade rudder. Below deck are the amenities that make Hunter famous. A huge salon with convertible dinetee, gourmet galley and twin staterooms, each with enclosed head and shower. The Hunter 430 gives you all the flexibility you need in a cruising boat - whether you go for a weekend or the long hull. This boat does it all and does it well.

The Hunter 43 has 6'10" headroom; a feature found on very few vessels.

This is an exceptionally well equipped and maintained vessel. It is markedly spacious and comfortable; a great coastal cruiser and live aboard for the Caribbean.

ACCOMODATIONS

Forward Cabin

The forward cabin has a  Pullman queen berth to starboard. Opposite is a vanity with cushioned seat, drawers, closets and a hanging locker.

Forward of this area is the en-suite head including shower, sink, head and a large overhead hatch.

Main Salon

The main salon includes the fore / aft galley set to port. 

Ultra leather upgrade on all upholstery in 2010

On the centerline, a fixed double seat including two large storage cabinets, easily accessed for galley or other storage needs. This faces the large dining table with very comfortable "C" shaped seating forward, aft and to starboard. Cabinet space abounds above and below this area. Two opening ports are above the starboard side settee and overhead hatches provide additional ventilation and light.

The TV is mounted on the forward bulkhead.

Navigation Station

This area is  to starboard, aft of the dinette area and opposite of the main  head. The forward facing chart table with lifting surface is large enough to spread out your charts and do some real plotting to back up your use of today's electronics. Storage is below the table as well as outboard where all navigation, communication and electrical units are mounted. A very comfortable cushioned seat makes this a nice place to work, as well as relax out of the traffic pattern.

Main Head

The main head is to port and can be accessed by doors in the main salon as well as the owners cabin aft. This is a spacious area that includes a separate shower stall. The marine head, vanity, sink, cabinet storage, mirror, opening port and fixed port complete the accommodations.

Owners Stateroom

This is an outstanding cabin, affording the comfort and features to make life aboard a pleasure. Central to this is the athwart ship queen bed with latex foam mattress (new 2017). There are cabinets aft and to port of the bed that have shelf space on top. a settee is to port and hanging licker and additional storage cabinets are on starboard. Ventilation and light is from a large opening port aft as well as two opening ports on each hull side.

 

 

GALLEY

The galley is on the port side in the main salon area. It extends fore and aft opposite the spacious salon seating area.

Large Corian work counter top areas to make preparation of the simple sandwich to full course meals a breeze.

The double stainless steel sinks are forward with the propane stove / oven following and the top loading refrigerator and freezer aft. The microwave oven is above the stove. A  storage rack is on the forward bulkhead.

Storage cabinets are both below and above as well as srveral drawers, making this an outstanding galley. The hatch above provides excellent light and ventilation.
