Overview

"Lightning Rod" is a 1998 Hunter 376. She was a freshwater vessel until cruised from Lake Michigan to Florida in 2010. The current owners since 2014 have cruised her from her homeport in Punta Gorda to the Keys and Bahamas several times alone and with friends. The layout and accommodations allow for comfortable cruising for four, though the salon settees can accommodate additional guests. Recognition of the 376 came when Cruising World Magazine awarded the 376 the "Best Value" Award in the 1997 Boat of the Year Awards. In this class of vessel the 376 continues to be the right size and have the features that offer an excellant value in todays market. Continous maintenance and upgrades have this Hunter ready to shove off.  Having been hoist kept behind the owner's home also adds to her exceptional condition.  You will not be disappointed in how she presents.

Designed with flexibility in mind, the Hunter 376 lets you live life to the fullest - whether sprinting under full sail, entertaining family and friends, or enjoying that long weekend or vacation cruising. The 376 is outfitted with a fractional rig featuring a full-roach, fully-battened mainsail and all lines leading aft. The cockpit is large, with an integrated wheel console, hinged helm seat and a walk-through transom with swim platform. The 376's roomy and bright interior boasts wraparound windshield; two staterooms,  L-shaped gourmet galley; and a marine head with vanity and stall shower.

Cabin Layout

The cabin layout of the Hunter 376 is designed to provide maximum comfort and space for extended cruising. Key features include:

Aft Cabin: The spacious aft cabin features an athwartship queen-size berth, hanging lockers, and additional storage, providing a comfortable and private sleeping area for two.

Forward Cabin: A large V-berth with storage compartments underneath, offering a comfortable sleeping area for two, and a dedicated vanity sink.

Salon: The central living area features a U-shaped dinette that can convert into an additional berth. Opposite the dinette is a long settee providing more seating and storage.

Galley: Located aft of the saloon, the L-shaped galley is equipped with a three-burner stove with oven, double sink, top loading refrigerator/freezer, and considerable counter space and storage cabinets for cooking essentials.

Nav Station: Adjacent to the galley, the navigation station includes a chart table, instrument panel, and a comfortable seat for plotting courses and managing onboard systems.

Head: The head includes a marine toilet, sink, vanity, and a separate shower stall, offering convenience and privacy.
