Overview
CARMELA is HANDS-DOWN the MOST well-cared-for boat you will ever see.
So much so, you will be amused by the attention to detail this original owner has.
I personally know this boat since new, and am always pleasantly surprised when I sail with them.
For starters, there's a shoe basket before you can even board their boat.
Grouper Anodes?? If you haven't heard of those, they are zinc anodes in the shape of a grouper fish, which are lowered into the water with a wire that is grounded to the pod drive in order to spare the zincs that are on the pod drive. So anodes to protect the main anode. Of course there's one hanging on each side of the boat.
After every outing, Captain Ramos flushes the engine with fresh water (and generator), using a custom plumbing connection he made.
If he turns on the A/C, there are plumbing connections to flush those systems too!
I can go on and on, but you need to see CARMELA to believe it!
Notable features:
In-mast furling
Shoal draft keel
ICW friendly 64' Bridge Clearance.
4200 W ECO-flow Lithium power supply for up to 14 hours of silent electrical power.
