Sparkman and Stephens Designed Tartan 40 Cruiser

Fresh from an 18-month Caribbean adventure spanning 13 countries and over 6,000 nautical miles, "Unrille" is ready for its next voyage. Descriptions

Layout:

The Tartan 40 features a teak interior, two private staterooms, and one head.  As you enter the vessel, the U shaped galley is easily accessible to the cockpit.  A fully-enclosed quarter cabin with double berth is to immediately starboard. The quarter berth cabin is spacious with numerous drawers, lockers and shelves plus a cushioned dressing seat, mirror and counter. The galley is to port and provides the cook with secure bracing even in the roughest seas. The nav station is tucked in just aft of the galley.  The large and comfortably appointed main salon features a large C-shaped convertible settee to port, a centerline drop leaf dining table, and straight settee to starboard.   Forward of the main salon, to port, is the head compartment with a full mirror, sink, separate shower stall, and a manual head.  Abundant drawers and louvered cabinets for storage are found throughout the vessel.  Opposite the head to starboard are two large hanging lockers with drawers and bins beneath.  A moderately sized V-berth with a bi-fold door for privacy is located all the way forward with a seat, ample shelves and drawers.   Access to the chain locker forward is via another louvered door in the forepeak
