The Ranger Tugs R-23 stands out visually with its dramatic curved windshield and visor. This Ranger Tug is ready for your next adventure, seasoned captain and one that is new to boating alike. Incorporating many of the same amenities as larger cruising yachts, the R-23 is perfect for overnighting or extended cruising. The Ranger Tugs R-23 was designed and is powered by a Yamaha 200 HP four stroke outboard. There is no shortage of light or visibility onboard the R-23, which incorporates four opening roof hatches, sliding side windows, and an opening glass bulkhead. This contributes to the very open and airy feeling inside and out. Opening portlights allow for a nice cross breeze in the cabin. The cabin offers plenty of room for sitting around the teak table, forward separate sleeping for two or sleeping two together utilizing the filler cushion. The dinette converts to a sleeper and can be utilized as an additional berth. The well-appointed galley on the R-23 is equipped with refrigerator/freezer, cooktop and microwave.

Hull
The Ranger Tugs R-23 is designed with a hard chined hull with a vertical stem, an anchor roller, spray strakes and a transom stern platform equipped with a swim ladder and outboard engine mount. In addition: stainless-steel capped rub rails and stainless-steel bow, stern and swim platform rails.

Deck
The deck layout is reminiscent of a tug style pilothouse cruiser. There is an electric anchor windlass and chain/rode locker located on the foredeck. Along the side decks there are strategically placed hand holds and grab rails that lead you to and from the expansive rear cockpit. The cockpit features generous storage in the form of lockers, a starboard transom door and fold down bench seating.
