Overview

Ginger is a Gem... 2007 49' Hunter Cutter. Well maintained and with all the extras.  She has a jib, self-tacking staysail, and spinnaker with three electric winches and one manual winch and a full enclosure to make sailing a breeze in any condition.  1200 watts solar with two mppt controllers(lithium-ready), inverter, generator, water maker, and electric windlass making on the hook a dream. She even has a Mars Metal custom shoal draft bulb keel.  With bottom paint completed in March, 2023, Ginger is ready to hit the water and make dreams come true!

2007 49' Hunter Ginger - Tankage/Plumbing

WATER - 200 gallons

The vessel's freshwater system is supplied from three polyethylene tanks, with a reported total capacity of 200 gallons. Pressure is supplied by a 12 volt pump. Tank fills were located port and starboard side decks and were clearly labeled for WATER.

SHOWERS - Two stand up shower enclosures in the heads and they drain into individual shower sumps with dedicated electric Attwood 4143-4 Shower Sump Pump Systems (2022). Freshwater.

MAST: Double spreader fractional rig, with swept back spreaders, aluminum mast, boom and Selden RodKicker boom vang, deck stepped with compression post below, and in mast furling.

SHROUDS AND STAYS: 1 x 19 stainless rigging wire with swaged fittings, at deck level, serviceable with no broken strands sighted. 

TURNBUCKLES: Stainless steel of the open design. Cotter pins were installed at the turnbuckles.

CHAIN PLATES: Internal chain plates bolted to knees and external chain plates bolted to the hull. 

SAIL TRACK: Two deck mounted sail tracks with Schaefer cars both port and starboard.

BLOCKS: All blocks and organizers were inspected 2022

MAIN SHEET TRAVELER: Arch mounted traveler

ROLLER FURLING GEAR: Furled 300S roller furling assemblies for both the headsail and staysail

CAM CLEATS: Spinlocks forward cockpit
