The Hunter 41 checks off lots of boxes with its nimble performance, massive cockpit with walk-through transom, and a luxurious roomy interior.    The two staterooms are equally large, both with en-suite heads.   The L-shaped galley is massive with a dedicated pantry, wine cellar under the floorboards, dish drying area, and a separate refrigerator and freezer.   

There are several features that you just don't find on many other boats, like Hunter's air conditioning distribution system with output vents in the headliner throughout the entire boat.   You literally get cold air everywhere.   Lots of amenities and storage, decent tankage, a genset, and a modest draft make her an ideal boat for the Bahamas.     It's no wonder the Hunter 41 was so popular.

Accommodations

 

Layout:

As you enter the companionway into the main salon, the galley is immediately to port. Forward of the galley is a large U-shaped dinette which drops down to make a double berth. The dinette cushions are finished in cream colored leatherette. There is a blue settee on the starboard side of the salon with storage beneath.. 

Moving forward, the guest cabin has its own head and shower in the forepeak, queen sized berth, vanity, sink, hanging locker and drawers.

The aft cabin is the owners' stateroom with a queen berth,, hanging lockers and dresser drawers under the berth. The aft head has a private entrance from the aft cabin as well as a 2nd entrance from the main cabin for guests to use and a full stand-up shower.

Both heads are the Quiet Flush electric type that uses fresh water to eliminate odors. 

The interior light and ventilation is superb with large opening hatches in both cabins with screens and sun shades built-in as well as Bomar ports. Overhead lighting is both the florescent and halogen type.
