The wing tanks are permanently coupled to the center tank. The center tank contains port & starboard inspection covers at the forward end incorporating fuel pick-up and returninto each cover. The Starboard cover also contains a Manual dipstick as well as the electric fuel sender. The port cover contains fuel pickup and return for the optionalgenerator. Tanks are bolted down on rubber cushioning to molded bases. Connections between the three tanks are made with 1.5" diameter diesel hose and each tank has an independent breather pipe or pipes.
Steering
Teleflex Hydraulic Steering with tilt wheel is used. The steering wheel is 16" diameter. Reservoir and pump are readily accessible in the lazaretto area. The rudders are a bronze casting.
Controls
Morse controls and cables are used throughout.
