Overview
Estate Sale, Offers Encouraged On this Beautiful Classic Bristol!
Designed by Ted Hood, the Bristol 40 is one of the all time great classic yachts, and features a 5'4" draft on her modified long keel, skeg mounted rudder, keel-stepped mast, one cabin lay-out (she doesn't have the quarter berth w/nav station) and is powered by a single Perkins 4-108 47 Hp diesel engine. She has beautiful timeless lines, a full keel with a cutaway forefoot and graceful overhangs, and was built to withstand rugged long ocean passage and elegantly finished to the yacht standards. “Delphinus” has been beautifully maintained and constantly cared for by her knowledgeable owner, is in very good condition and would make the perfect boat for the serious sailor. A very well built cruiser/racer, with graceful, classic lines and excellent performance qualities that will appeal to the traditional yachtsman.

Descriptions
Vessel SpecificationsAccommodations This interior is finished in nicely varnished teak trim. Ten new stainless steel opening ports provide good ventilation. - The layout begins with V-berth forward; new cabinets are found port and starboard, and storage is below. The unusually large head compartment, next aft, has full standing headroom and features a manual marine toilet, sink, shower, vanity, drawers and a linen locker. An extra-large hanging locker is opposite. The main salon has a U-shaped dinette (which converts to a double berth) to port with storage outboard. A straight settee/transom berth is opposite with more storage outboard. The galley is in the aft port quarter, with the Sea Frost Refrigerator/Freezer to starboard doing double duty as a chart table. This is a great layout for long distance cruising, day sailing, or Living aboard. Headroom is 6'4" in the main salon, tapering down to 6' in the forward stateroom.
