Various tools and Cleaning Supplies
Improvements/Issues as at 11/6/2019:
Mack Sails made new sail covers.
Had jib cleaned and refurbished. Note, rust stains did not all come out.
Had fuel tanks cleaned and filled with new fuel. Replaced primary filter.
Lauderdale Battery tested batteries, all ok. Filled all 3 batteries.
East Coast Battery and Electric tested both alternators and rewired the bigger one.
Lean Marine Electric removed many of the wires disconnected from equipment no longer in use, and indicated wiring was relatively clean for a 1992 boat.
Marine Waste Pumping emptied the holding tanks.
Splash Marine,Inc replacing 4 non-opening windows with acrylic - provides warranty.
Installed new Cockpit Instrument panel and instruments for monitoring engine.
Repaired fluid level gauges. All but one works.
Replaced supporting boards under forepeak and salon settee cushions.
Built removable panel giving access to engine under galley sink. (Needs painting and trim.)
Moved water tank and refrigerator compressor down to make more room for drawers and shelves. (Compressor fan needs to be mounted.)
Built support, shelves and doors providing a wider counter and more storage. (Drawers still need to be built and doors trimmed and finished. Counter-top needs to be selected and fitted. Counter-top painting needs to be retouched and protected or replaced with new counter material.)
Replaced broken float switch for fwd shower sump pump.
Modified companion way so top board would fold down rather than be lifted and removed.
Replaced hoses between engine and water heater but haven't reconnected to engine.
Removed broken compressor for freezer.
Stripped peeling exterior varnish.
Tested all various systems and switches:
Air conditioner operating as it should
Solar Panels are charging batteries.
Auto pilot on binnacle turns wheel.
Auto pilot on cockpit coaming does not turn on.
Steering cables freshly replaced, greased.
Old auto pilot driver is in forward cabin top drawer. Do not know if it was rebuilt.
Navigation and steaming lights came on.
Anchor light and tricolor did not. Could not see if there was a tricolor or anchor light.
Stove/propane did not operate. There seems to be an empty propane tank and one with some in it.
Refrigerator works. Freezer compressor was nonfunctional and removed.
Good water pressure.
Hot water heater works with shore power.
Shore powered battery charger works. It is labeled and under aft stbd settee seat.
Inverter under same seat works. It is more powerful than new (spare) left on fwd cabin shelf.
Night lights work. One in aft cabin is missing red lens.
Indirect lights are on wall switches as well as switch on panel. Salon ones temporarily replaced by narrow ribbon of little LEDs, original ones didn't work.
Indirect lights in aft cabin have switches at entry and near bed.
Indirect lights didn't work in fwd cabin.
Both Y valve's are stuck on overboard. One replacement is on boat.
Fwd head works well.
Aft head pump needs to be replaced.
Fwd shower sump works.
Aft shower sump pump runs, float switch works, but pump does not drain sump.
One aft shower hose is cut/disconnected
