"Hey Jude" received a total refit by a very knowledgeable owner during 2004 but plans for extended cruising changed,and she was sold to an experienced sailing couple who cared for her as well. So again she's ready to take you anywhere, safely, comfortably, and in style. In 2004 she was repowered with a Westerbeke 44hp diesel, new Velvet drive transmission, new Aquamet shaft, new cutlass bearing, and new MaxProp 3-bladed feathering prop. During 2004 she was equipped with a Mermaid 12,500 BTU A/C system, updated teak bow sprit, 12V Ideal windlass, new 135% Genoa and Mizzen sails, new Profurl system, Awlgripped hull, updated standing and running rigging, new khaki-colored Sunbrella "stack-pack" sail covers, bimini, dodger, cockpit enclosure, hatch and teak covers and interior cushions, Ampair wind generator, wiring, plumbing, water heater, and more. Nothing was overlooked and every system is professionally installed and equipped with spare parts.

Accommodations, CabinEnter the main cabin with a new synthetic Everwear teak and holley sole throughout, and the well-equipped U-shaped galley with Grunnert engine-driven refrigeration, stainless steel sink, and propane stove and oven is to port, and the Nav Station, with swing-out stool is to starboard. The main salon has 6'3" headroom, settee cushions on each side, with a pilot berth outboard of the starboard settee. The teak dinette table is hinged and folds up onto the forward teak bulkhead, leaving the center of the main salon wide open and spacious. Moving forward through the passageway to port are drawers and cabinets, a hanging locker with the 12,500BTU A/C unit below. To starboard is the head, with vanity and sink with new faucets, plenty of storage, and a stand-alone shower stall. All the way forward is the V-Berth with drawers to port, a filler cushion, and a large anchor locker is in the forepeak. Additional ventilation is provided by 4 Hella 12V adjustable fans.
GalleyThe U shaped galley has plenty of counter space and storage cabinets and drarwes aabove and below.

All new Sunbrella "Stack Pack" type sail covers with integral Lazy Jacks, hatch covers, Dodger, Bimini, and full Cockpit Enclosure with Eisenglass Panels.
