Overview
This vessel has been reduced to $69,900 due to the port engine requires rebuilding. The owner's Visa has expired and are unable to work with vendors from a long distance to get the work done at a fair price. Current estimates are between $13k-16k. An excellent opportunity to purchase a diesel MY, repair the engine and obtain a warranty from the rebuilder for around a $85-90k total investment. Not a bad value when considering SoldBoats shows the average sold price for 1987 to 1989 models is $134k.
The San Remo is a spacious double cabin motor yacht built by Wellcraft. The salon is entered down several steps from the sundeck. Several steps up from the Sundeck leads to the spacious bridge. The salon has S-shaped settees port and starboard. Forward to port is an entertainment center and to starboard a curved breakfast bar with a liquor cabinet. The large galley is down two steps and includes a side-by-side refrigerator and freezer, microwave, stove and plenty of counter, cabinet and drawers for storing food and dishes. The guest cabin is forward with a centerline queen bed with a private entrance to the forward head compartment. The master cabin is aft with an offset queen berth, large escape window with a private head. She is powered by twin 375-hp 3208T CAT's with only 1150 hours.
Owners have done many upgrade and maintenence items prior to their departure for Germany. Canvas was upgraded, exterior carpet was replaced, engines and engine room were cleaned, painted and serviced, Generator was serviced, A/C units was replaced and/or services, etc.
Owners are very motivated to sell this vessel since they have returned to Germany. One of the lowest priced diesel vessel on the market and all reasonable offers will be considered. Vessel has already been discounted $50k for a $16k repair.
